Hip Hop Album Sales 8/9- Common Takes Top Spot
Common took the top spot in the latest Billboard charts with his new album “Finding Forever”. Common sold 155,000 copies in its opening week, with his 7th album and first #1 spot. The album features production from Kanye West and has guest spots from West and D’Angelo.
Sean Kingston’s debut album took the #6 spot by selling 74,000 albums in it’s first week. The album is riding the success of the popular single “Beautiful Girls”.
Keith Murray new album “Rap-Murr-Phobia” took the #52 spot on the chart selling 13,000 copies in its first week. Murray’s album features guest spots from Method Man, Redman and Tyrese.
